The retreats seamlessly blend design, lifestyle and immaculately clean style with a firm environmental vision. 

The architectural design spreads around the hill in a hidden-in-the-ground centrifugal set-up, offering privacy and optimum sea view at the same time.

Alleys and buildings are gently plunged into the natural terrain creating discrete communal spaces and sheltered courtyards, formed by the minimum necessary trenches for access, view, thermal comfort and cooling. Integration into the landscape minimizes both distortion of the ridge and exposure to natural elements – strong summer sun and seasonal evening breeze; but primarily, it guides human space to converse with earth, generating a unique dialogue between each building and its specific location; so at the end, interior character identifies with the surrounding natural environment.

Using local stone, five different houses were designed; simple, rectangular, with crystal partitions so that inner space becomes instantly apprehended and familiar. A straight walkway, providing access to all activities (entrance, bathroom, bedroom, kitchen, living room, courtyards) runs across the floor plan and successively, from the secret sheltered patio to the main outdoor area, constantly reminds of the concept's core: the transition from earth's bosom towards light, sky and the sea.
